The collection comprises a total of 88 puppets representing the most important characters from the Mahabharata and Ramayana epics. The exhibition will display 35 pieces from this unique assemblage. The puppets come from Sunda, West Java, which is the cradle of three-dimensional wayang golek puppets.
The exhibition will be open from 5th June to 21st June 2024.
