I Made Sidia comes from one of the most prominent puppeteer families in Bali, where the tradition of puppetry and traditional dance spans centuries. Made Sidia actively combines these art forms in his work, so in his workshops he will also present traditional masked dances from Bali, a creative fusion of masks and puppets, all to the sound of traditional gamelan or live singing.
